They love plowing on Holidays and weekends.... I wonder why ? I predict they will plow my road out sometime on Saturday or Sunday for overtime.
We are hearing that McKean has issued travel ban for everyone except emergency vehicles. Is this true?
I have seen a plow on my road this winter. It's a sheet of ice now covered in snow and we are a 1/2 of a mile for the township building. Keep up the good work Liberty Township
Seriously, like no one has to go to work? Oh that's right , the school busses aren't running. Silly me.
When they say "UNTIL THIS STORM SUBSIDES" Does that mean April or may ? To whom would i submit my lost wages documentation to ?
Everyone wants to complain because they aren't out plowing well they could go out and plow every hour on the hour and raise your taxes then you will complain about that.... Suck it up and deal with it only drive if you need to drive... 9 out of 10 times Liberty roads are in better condition than any other township or state road. It is winter so drive like it is instead of being a moron and waiting to the last minute to leave. Just a thought. I greatly appreciate all the hard work the crew and supervisors do for the township.
AGAIN IT CLEARLY STATES UNNECESSARY TRAVEL.... if you took that as not going to work then maybe you should not be on the road if you aren't smart enough to comprehend what they are asking of you... They are asking don't drive home from work to drive back to town to pick up a pizza... or your children that may need to go somewhere tell them no it will be ok. Have some common sense.. and use what little bit of brain you have left to understand what is going on. SINCERELY A PROUD LIBERTY TOWNSHIP RESIDENT.
I happen to know none of the three liberty township supervisors take any pay, and yet they always help the crew out any way they can. Anybody's road that hasn't been done, they should call a supervisor or the township office, leave a message, and it will get done. To the individual regarding any lost wages, I happen to have worked 40 years and never missed a days work due to the weather. People that miss work is usually because they want to. A township supervisor, and resident living on the same roads you are complaining about. p.s. thanks for the post from the one person with common sense!
It would be nice for those of us that HAVE to get home from work, to be able to travel on roads with even 4 inches of snow rather than a foot.
You may think it unimportant but there are people who come and go to work at hours that PENNDOT and/or township roads won't be plowed becuase they must wait. Well tell that to my boss when he fires me. You guys have developed some seriously bad habits becuase of the previous idel winters!
Instead of plowing every hour - how about every 4 hours. At least that would help!

Would you send your wife down an unplowed road after you have left for work ? Our road has gone for days without getting plowed. So you might wanna keep your pie hole closed...
He probably would as she knows how to drive in the snow and drove school bus on these roads for years and if it went days why wouldn't you make a call to someone. Duh lack of brain cells on that one.

You sir are incorrect. There has never been a road in Liberty Township that has ever gone days without being plowed. Could you please state the road name in which this took place and also a time frame. Because I know for a fact that in the last 14 yrs that has never occurred.
So before popping off make sure you have the correct facts. We are not talking about years ago with the old supervisors.
