Anonymous said...: I had noticed an interesting statement in the story on Eldred on 12/3, "One of Eldred's neighbors reported that police had been to his house last week and carried out guns, computers, and cell phones. They are saying he was in school on Friday, then it was reported that he was dismissed from school, & the conviscation of his things didn't happen. Did it or didn't it? Becoming a curious situation. This is ridiculous that no letters of explanation have been sent home. There are only two reasons as to why his computers, cell phones, etc have been confiscated: terrorist or child porn involving some of our children. They don't seize guns for child porn. If and when the federal authorities feel it is time to release the details of their investigation they will let you know. You cannot dismiss a person based on speculation. I am sure if the school had credible proof of a threat, they would have done something. The Jerk said...: As a matter of fact, not only do I have children, I have grandchildren. In fact they both had this guy as a teacher growing up. They are both adults now and we have spoken in great detail about him since the shooting. Neither of them really liked him, but what kid does like all of their teachers. I know I didn't like all of mine, but that did not make them bad people. Some of them still teach in Coudy to this day. If he was cruel to students then yes it most certainly is the school's responsibility to take action as much as it is the parent's responsibility to make sure of it, but that is not the issue here. I don't remember reading anything in any of the reports about abuse. This Is about a man that went over the edge and committee a terrible act in the most sacred of places. What he has done has stirred a lot of controversy in our small community, and I am certain that if the police, or the FBI, or the school had any inclination that there was a credible threat that they would have acted upon it. It is not the schools fault that he was unstable. The blame lies solely on him and him alone. He will answer to justice and to a higher being in time. Now he is where he belongs and I doubt that wolle ever change in his lifetime. Stop rubbing salt in the open wounds of the community and let us all begin the healing process already. There is no witch to hunt and no conspiracy to unravel. Be thankful he snapped on her and not your child and be done with it already.; Wednesday, December 5, 2012 at 7:41:00 PM EST

Allegedly his computers etc were taken because of child porn and that Ms Sitler was the one that that turned him in. The FBI was there Before the shooting.

Which means someone/something tipped them off about something prior to the shooting.

There are hidden things right now.

Maybe the school cant give precise details, but if they cared about anything other than their own ass, they could make a statement of some type.

No I do not have children that were being taught by him, however I HAVE been taught by him. I did not like the man I always felt he was a little off. However I promise you when the FBI seized his property they also seized school property, they did not give reasons behind it to anyone in the school. The FBI would have subpoenaed the school with an order to release their property for investigation. No other information would have been given until the investigation is over.

So before everyone goes on a witch hunt for school board members and super attendants, wait until the investigation is concluded and all facts have been brought to light.; Thursday, December 6, 2012 at 12:42:00 AM EST

There are FBI agents trying to build a case that will result in a conviction. Anyone with any information, whether it be the school Superintendent or a neighbor, will be following very strict and specific orders from the FBI when it comes to the release of information. Going against those orders is interfering with a federal investigation. "People should be knocking down the superintendent's door." You sound like a bunch of hillbillies. The man was a teacher for years, surely somebody would have noticed him acting strange around children before now if that was the case. There could be a number of reasons for what is going on.
