We
live among heroes today. An off duty state trooper, a motorist and two
others in the right place at the right time pulled a woman from the
burning apartment house this morning. The woman was bedridden.
At
least 7 people are homeless this afternoon following a fire in
Emporium. Many thanks to all the volunteers who continue to make sure
the fire does not rekindle.
Traveling
through Cameron County be aware a portion of downtown Route 120 is
still closed due to the fire at Route 120 and Pine Street
Thanks
to Fox's Pizza Den in Emporium and Aroma Cafe & Restaurant. The
hot coffee and pizza warmed up the firefighters who spent the morning
fighting a fire.
