Edna J. Sullivan, 69 of Raleigh, NC, formerly of Bradford, passed away on Wednesday, December 26, 2012 at the Wake County Hospice Center, Raleigh.

She was born on June 9, 1943 in Salamanca, NY, a daughter of the late Andrew and Jessie Smeal Conner.

On December 13, 1975 she married Lyle L. Sullivan; who preceded her in death on August 27, 2005.

She was a member of the Grace Lutheran Church where she had been the church Treasurer in the 1970’s and 80’s.

Edna loved spending time with her family; especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. In her free time she enjoyed socializing online and meeting new people. She liked to go to the beach and even moved to Florida to be closer to the beach. While in Florida she began going to flea markets to sell antiques and various handmade crafts that she was skilled in making.

Edna and her husband were the owners of the former Kania Manufacturing, later on she became the head cashier at the Bradford TOPS market for a number of years and finally she had been the footwear manager at the former Bradford K-Mart.

She is survived by one son, Dan (Sherri Hatch) Holley, Jr., Bradford, one daughter, Robin (Dolan) Shoaf, Raleigh, NC, two granddaughters, Amber Holley, Raleigh, Crystal Himes, Bradford, three grandsons, Matthew McAndrew, Scotty Porter, Jr., both of Raleigh, Dustin Holley, Marshburg, two brothers, Clifford (Alberta) Conner, Ormsby, Paul (Mary) Conner, Mt. Alton, one sister, Sandra Good, Bradford, four great grandchildren, eight step children and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband she was also preceded in death by six brothers and sisters.

Visitation will be held on Monday, December 31, 2012 from 4:00 to 6:00 PM at the Mascho Funeral Home, Inc. where funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, January 1, 2013 with the Rev. Patrick J. Cox, pastor of the Grace Lutheran Church officiating.

Entombment will be in Willow Dale Cemetery.

Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the care of the Mascho Funeral Home, Inc.
