How many breaks are they going to give this girl...obviously probation ain't gonna work being that she has pretty much burglarized everybody in emporium and has continued since she was placed on probation.
Are you kidding me?!?!?! How many times are we going to slap her on the wrist and let her out on the street to do it again?!?!? What has happened to the court system????
This is BS... this girl has been in more trouble than anyone else in Emporium.. She just got nailed for stealing out of a home on Rt 120 East of Emporium. I do believe she also spent some jail time not to long ago for the same dam reason or it was drug charges.. the worst part about it, she has 2 kids and they are the ones suffering...
and yet another slap on the wrist for this what 7 or 8 time offender the justice system really works
MARVIN SAYS TO FREE TOM SMITH. MIGHT AS WELL CHRISTINA UBER IS RUNNING FREE. AT LEAST TOM WAS SELF EMPLOYED AND DIDN'T STEAL FROM OTHER PEOPLE IN TOWN.
Why send her looking for a job?? Who would hire a theif????especialy stealing from her Bingo friends???? Waste of time. Jail time for her
In the court system, there are sentencing guidelines judges follow, according to a score received, in part, by your prior record. In the Potter County Judge and DA's defense, this individual has only very minor offenses listed on her record. Most of her charges are never prosecuted, and in fact don't make it past the local police department. Therefore, the recommendation would have shown probation only. The real problem is the local police allowing her to continue to skate by mostly unscathed, though I can come up with five names of people she has legitimately robbed in recent years off the top of my head, and there aren't any charges for some of those crimes. That said, Christina is one of the nicest, sweetest and most caring people I've ever met, at times. She's wonderful with children, and the ones I've seen her with (not just her own) clearly enjoy her company. Inside her is a wonderful person. She needs help, though, and she's not going to get it without someone to push her in that direction. Christina--if you read this, your friends and family miss you. Get some help, please, before it's too late.
Thats Empo for you. Guess thats why so many crimes in the town happen! More so Stealing to support habbits! Poor Kids.
You people need to stop making excuses for Christina. She does have a problem but for someone to get help they are going to have to admit they need it. I have known her pretty much her entire life. Her family needs to stop bailing her out of the things she has done. Make her accountable for her actions instead of babying her for the things she has done. Stop saying "Oh poor Christina." Putting her on probabtion isn't going to help her. Putting her in a Rehab around here isn't going to help her either. And personally (yet she deserves to be placed behind bars)placing her behind bars isn't going to help her. She needs sent away to a place far away from family and friends so she can get the help she needs. She has plenty of addictions. Drugs and stealing are two of the addictions she has. But keeping her close to family and friends will not ever help her get any better. She needs extensive therapy but being close to home will never help her.
