Frank E. Otto, 77, formerly of Lafayette, and Hinsdale, NY, passed away Saturday, December 15, 2012 at the Bradford Ecumenical Home.

Born November 19, 1935, in East Stroudsburg, he is the son of Evelyn (Bush) Otto of Bradford and the late Melvin Otto.

On June 26, 1954 he married Nancy (White) Otto, who died on January 25, 1984.

Mr. Otto attended Media High School. He was a certified Chevy Mechanic for over 35 years. He owned and operated Otto's Communications. He also owned and operated the Lafayette Sports Shop and car rental business. He had been the parts manager at O'Laughlin Pontiac-Buick-Cadillac-GMC Truck Dealership in Salamanca and Great Valley NY

He was the former Chief of Fire Police at the West Bradford Fire Company in Chester County. He was a former member of the Lafayette Evangelical Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, woodworking, NASCAR, but most importantly spending time with his family.

Surviving in addition to his mother is one daughter, Sandra March, of Strasburg, three sons; Theodore (and the late Susan) Otto, of Lafayette, Frederick (Brenda) Otto, of Bradford, and Robert "Andy" Otto, of Philadelphia, his companion of many years Judy Buckles of Hinsdale NY, eight grandchildren, five great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. 

In addition to his father and wife he was preceded in death by two brothers Robert and Fred Otto.

Family will be receiving friends on Tuesday, December 18, 2011 from 5:00 to 7:00pm in the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes, Inc., 33 South Ave. where funeral and committal services will be held at 7:00pm with Rev. Robert Baldwin, pastor of the Lafayette Evangelical Church officiating. Burial will be in Lafayette Cemetery.
