Roulette Girl Scout Troop #20490 was really busy being Santa's little helpers from November-December this year.
First, they started off by having a Toy Drive for the Christmas House which was held at the Dollar General Stores in Port and Coudy. They collected about 235 toys to donate for those children in need this Christmas.
Next, we sponsored a Family Christmas dinner for any resident of Roulette. They could eat right at the Riverside Methodist Church or we also had take outs and deliveries. We estimated about 125 dinners served on December 8th. And last but not least, they filled 20 stockings with goodies to be donated to the Riverside Methodist Church to go along with their Christmas food boxes for those families in need in Roulette.
They definitely deserve a great big round of applause for all of their hard work and dedication to helping those in need this Christmas season!! Thank you to all of those who helped us succeed with these wonderful projects this year, we couldn't have done it without you!!
