Jenna Matzinger Named Athlete Of The Week

Sophomore women's basketball player Jenna Matzinger has been named the Penn College Athlete of the week for the period ending Dec. 2.

Matzinger helped lead the Lady Wildcats to a 2-1 week with wins over Penn State Hazleton and Penn State Mont Alto. Matzinger notched two double-doubles averaging 14 points and 12 rebounds in the three games.

So far this season, the Lady Wildcats are 4-3 with Matzinger leading the team in rebounds.

Next up, Matzinger and the Lady Wildcats host Penn State Wilkes Barre on Wednesday, Dec. 5 at 6 p.m.
