Karen C. Bell, 61, of 107 Route 275, Richburg, NY, passed away on Wednesday (Dec. 5, 2012) shortly after admission to Jones Memorial Hospital, Wellsville.
Born Sept. 10, 1951, in Olean, she was the daughter of Robert and Lucille Scott. She married George Bell on April 22, 1978, in Sherman, N.Y. Mr. Bell survives. She was a graduate of the Belfast Central School.
Surviving, in addition to her husband, are two sons, Joe (Stacy) Bell of Bolivar, and Christopher (Tara) Bell of Friendship; mother, Lucille Scott of Wellsville; six grandchildren; one brother, James (Debbie) Scott of Franklinville, N.Y.; two sisters, Bonnie (Bruce) Mura of Hume, and Rebecca (Robin Murphy) of Cuba, N.Y.; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the Schaffner Funeral Home Inc., Bolivar, Saturday from 10 a.m.-1 p.m., at which time funeral and committal services will be held with Pastor Larry Allen of the Richburg First Day Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be in Richburg Cemetery.
