Kathleen Norma Greene, 86, of Smethport, formerly of East Valley Rd.

Kathleen Norma Greene, 86, of Smethport, formerly of East Valley Rd., died Monday (December 17, 2012) in the Bradford Regional Medical Center, Bradford.

She was born Feb 26, 1926 in Buffalo, a daughter of George and Katherine Hupf Brodfuehrer. On July 6, 1946, in Buffalo, NY, she married Wallace Watson Greene, who died November 30, 1998.

Mrs. Greene worked in the Cafeteria of the Smethport High Area School for many years and retired in 1998.

She was a member of Smethport Senior Center and St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church, Smethport.

She is survived by

three daughters: Elizabeth G. Sweet of Bradford, Rose Marie Jackson of Warren, PA, Theresa Ann Robinson of Shinglehouse, PA

four sons: David W. Greene of Germany, Larry A. Greene of Albion, PA, Thomas S. Greene and Raymond E. Greene of Smethport, PA

19 Grandchildren, 24 Great Grandchildren

one sister: Mary Cooper of Buffalo, NY, and several nieces and nephews

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, John Patrick Greene, and a daughter, Karen Ann Schneider, 7 brothers and one sister.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. at Hartle-Tarbox Funeral Homes, Inc., 2 Bank St., Smethport, PA, where funeral and committal services will be held on Thursday, December 20 at 11:00 am, with the Rev. Vincent P. Cieslewicz, pastor of St. Elizabeth Church, Smethport, officiating. Burial will be in St. Elizabeth Cemetery, Smethport. A Christian Wake service will be held at 3:30 P.M. on Wednesday afternoon.
