Krazy A Dog Kennel Robbed On Route 120 Thursday Morning/Woman Injured On Route 120

State Police at Emporium are asking the public's help in their investigation of an early morning robbery at the Krazy A Dog Kennel at 11233 Route 120, 2 miles west of Emporium in Shippen Township, Cameron County.

On Thursday (today) at about 6:40 AM, an unidentified male actor entered the Krazy A Dog Kennel and was able to open the cash register and remove cash and coin currency. Betty Allen, 62, of Emporium, PA, the victim and owner of the business, attempted to intervene by preventing the actor from fleeing. During her attempt, she was assaulted by the male and sustained an injury. Due to being assaulted, she was unable to see in what direction the male fled the scene.

Trooper Farabaugh said the actor fled on foot and at this time it is unknown of a vehicle was used to facilitate his flight. Anyone who may have seen any vehicles parked in the area during time frame that this occurred or any other suspicious or unusual activities or persons, please contact the PA State Police at Emporium at 814-486-3321.

It is getting bad over in Emporium. Think all this crime is related? Drug money? Someone will lose their life soon if this doesn't stop, is my fear. People are getting pissed off. I know what I'd do.

I think she may have been hurt.
I hope whoever this is is caught. This is what happenes when you just slap people on the hand and tell them "no!" get with it! I hope for her sake, justice prevails and this person gets what is coming to them!

Thankfully the state police are investigating may have a better chance of the finding the suspect. The town police do nothing about what goes on inside the town limits. They are too busy worrying about speeding tickets then drugs being sold in plain sight. Too much paperwork I guess. A known drug dealer lives right in the middle of the town anytime of the day you can see people going to his apartment, but the police cannot prove he sells drugs. Come on if everyone in town knows he does when why don't they??? It is probably because they do not wanna deal with it, but don't speed they will be there to get you. I hope they find whoever is doing all these burglaries fast and not slap them on the wrist. We already have one person with pending burglary charges walking the streets buying drugs!!!
