Linda L. Ward, 66, of Smethport, PA

Linda L. Ward, 66, of Smethport, PA, died Saturday (December 15, 2012) at her residence.

She was born Dec 10, 1946 in Olean, NY a daughter of Lovell L. and Lorena Skaggs Pattison. On November 16, 1975, in Olean, NY, she married Kenneth E. Ward, who survives.

Mrs. Ward was a graduate of Smethport Area High School and worked in the Deli at the Market Basket in Smethport, PA, retiring in 2000.

She was a "Special Mother" to many children over the years, and was a special person to many people of the community. She will be greatly missed.

In addition to her Mother and her husband, she is survived by

four sons: Brian Bigley of Bradford, Brad (Tammy) Bigley of Smethport, Dave (Deb) Bigley of Summerville, PA, and Jeff (Heather) Ward of Bradford

eight Grandchildren and one Great Grandchild

one sister: Sandy (John) Nelson of Bradford

one brother: Leroy Pattison of Smethport

and several nieces and nephews

She was preceded in death by her father.

Visitation will be held on Monday from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. at Hartle-Tarbox Funeral Homes, Inc., 2 Bank St., Smethport, PA, where funeral and committal services will be held on Tuesday, at 11 A.M., with the Rev. Frank Eppley, officiating. Burial will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery, Smethport.
