Local Program Supports Car-Pooling To Work

The Vanpool Advantage Network (VAN) subsidizes transportation pooling, according to Area Transportation Authority spokesman Rich Viglione. For example, if seven or more out-of-town residents work the same shift at Empereon Marketing in Coudersport, they can ride together to and from work through VAN.
Even if commuters own a vehicle, they can save money and take advantage of tax deductions by using VAN. Employers are also given incentives to become involved with VAN. Viglione said a minimum employee group of seven is required to qualify for VAN. More details are available at a toll-free number, 1-866-282-4968.

It's about time!! I truly hope that people utilize this service.
I have heard the Amish talking about this service.
Also one of the biggest barriers for people who wanna work in Potter County are companys like Level 3.One of the last decent places to work for people without a college degree. So instead of worrying about people car pooling in one of the most rural places in the world.I think we should be worrying about the almost 300 people that arn't going to have a job soon. What is that going to do to Potters population and unemployment figures.
I am afraid that 4 more years of obama is only going to make it much worse!
they tirk are jerbs!
Heck, Busty Hearts has been doing this for years
People have been car pooling for years. This is a good idea.
