Margie Ann Kostkas, 65, of 5465 Joshua Road, Mechanicsburg, Pa., died Sunday, November 11, 2012, at Select Specialty Hospital Camp Hill.

Born April 2, 1947, in Warren, Pa., to Frederick and Helena (Michelitsch) Noren, she married Gerald Thomas Kostkas July 23, 1966. He survives.

She was a 1965 graduate of Warren Area High School.

Prior to retirement, she was employed by Blair Corporation in the Mailing Department for 28 years. Post retirement she and Gerald moved to Mechanicsburg, PA to be an active loving role in their granddaughters’ lives.

She was a lifetime of member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church.

She was a member of the Chautauqua Rod and Gun Club and Women of the Moose.

She enjoyed boating at Chautauqua Lake, vacationing at the beach, and spending time with her family. She was an avid reader and always embraced emerging technology.

She is survived by a son, Michael Kostkas and his wife Michaelle, of Warren, Pa.; a daughter, Mrs. George (Lisa) Dubniczki of Mechanicsburg, Pa.; a brother, John Noreen and his wife, Cindy of Tuckasegee, N.C; an aunt, Anna Michelitsch of Port Allegany; and granddaughters, Hayden and Anna Dubniczki who were the light of her life.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Carol Morgan; and a nephew, Ricky Morgan.

Memorial services will be 1 p.m. Saturday, December 29 at St. Gabriel the Archangel Parish, 203 Arnold Ave., Port Allegany, Pa., with Father James Campbell, officiating as celebrant.

Arrangements are entrusted to Hartle-Tarbox Funeral Homes, 105 North Main Street, Port Allegany, PA.

Memorial contributions may be made in Margie’s name to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, 1311 Mamaroneck Ave, Suite 310, Whites Plains, NY 10605, or charity of your choice.
