A Port Allegany man was not injured when his 2000 Ford Mustang struck a utility pole support cable and flipped onto it's roof on Route 607, about 300 feet south of Reed Run Road on December 4th at 6:50 PM.
Douglas A. Smith, 43, of Port Allegany, PA, was traveling southbound on Rt. 607 in Keating Township, Potter County and was negotiating a right curve in the roadway when he lost control of the car, according to Trooper James Culvey. The support cable and the utility pole were damaged as a result of the crash.
