North Central Picks Curt Weinhold's Photo For Cover

Local Photographer’s Work Prominently Displayed

pottercountycourthouseframedA colorful picture of the Potter County Courthouse framed by the American flag and a Victorian lamppost with flower baskets in downtown Coudersport was chosen for the cover of the 2012 annual report for Northcentral Pennsylvania Regional Planning and Development Commission.

Photographer is Curt Weinhold of Coudersport, an award-winning Pennsylvania Wilds artisan.

His work was nominated as the cover photo by the Potter County Commissioners. Copies of the annual report are widely circulated within Northcentral’s six-county service area and to state and federal agencies and elected officials.

Weinhold is active in numerous local organizations, including the Potter County Planning Commission, Coudersport Area Chamber of Commerce, Potter County Natural Gas Resource Center, Susquehannock Trail Club and others. He and his wife, Penny, have two grown sons.

The photo was featured on the cover of Solomon's words for the wise earlier this year. Curt's photos have exposed the beauty of Potter County to the world. A ten minute video review of Curt's photos of Potter County embedded in Solomon's words has been viewed over 14,000 times.
