Open Arms Community Church will hold their 9th Annual "Christmas Eve's Eve" service on Sunday

What: Christmas Eve's Eve Service
When: December 23, 6:00pm and 7:30pm
Where: Open Arms Community Church 1289 East Main Street Bradford, PA

Open Arms Community Church will hold their 9th Annual "Christmas Eve's Eve" service on Friday. The event will feature traditional Christmas music in a rock music arrangement, drama, videos, and fun for the whole family. The church will host two services, at 6:00PM and 7:30PM.

Open Arms Pastor Mike McAvoy says, "Our celebration is unique in many ways. First, because we do it on December 23rd, thus the name Eve's Eve Service. We did this so that families could spend Christmas Eve with their family with no added stress. Second, it's fun not just a serious or somber service. We recognize the seriousness of our message, but believe that it is something to celebrate and to have fun. Third, it's modern. Of course we sing traditional Christmas songs, but we do it in a non-traditional way as well as add in a lot of multi-media to make it relevant to the people of 2012."

McAvoy promises the event will be fun for the whole family, "While we take our Faith very seriously, we don't take ourselves too serious. We love to experiment and have fun."

McAvoy says, "In a season that is known for love, warmth, and kindness our nation and region have experienced horrible tragedies. We hope this Eve's Eve service will help bring comfort, hope, and even joy at a time of such grief and tragedy."

Again, the event will be held Friday, December 23rd at 6:00 and 7:30PM at Open Arms Community Church, 1289 East Main Street, Bradford PA.
