The library has just received 61 new children’s and young adults’ books through a Libri grant. This grant was made possible by a matching gift from the T.R.A.C.K. organization. Thank you, T.R.A.C.K.! Come on in and check out the new books!

Are you interested in tracing your family history but don’t know where to start? Would you like to get together regularly with a group of others and share tips and information? We are starting a family history group that will meet at the library regularly to do just that! The group will have its first meeting on December 7th at 3:00 p.m. Call the library at 814-697-6691 to register or if you have any questions.

Crab Apple Jam Christmas: Come join us for some Christmas cheer on Friday, December 21 at 5:00 pm at the library. Performance by Crab Apple Jam Music Students including songs, dances, bells, percussion, and dulcimers. Do you want to know how to get and stay out of debt? Need to live on a budget but don’t know where to start? Financial Peace University can help with that! What will you learn in Financial Peace University? Financial Peace University (FPU) is a nine-week class on money management taught by America's most trusted financial guru, Dave Ramsey. Dave and his teaching team will walk you through the basics of budgeting, dumping debt, planning for the future, and much more! If interested in participating in a class, call the library.

Story Time is taking place TWICE every Wednesday throughout the school year at 11 and 4. Come out for some great stories and songs with Pen!
The library’s book discussion group is reading The Kommandant’s Girl by Pam Jenoff for discussion this month. Book discussion will be on December 19th at 1:30 p.m. There are plenty of copies of the book available, so stop by the library and pick one up. We would love to have you join us!

The Stitch Together Knit and Crochet group meets every Monday and Wednesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. They are always happy to add new members! Just bring along your current project and join in. If you don’t knit or crochet, there’s always someone available and willing to teach.

The library will be closed on December 24th, 26th, 31st and January 2nd for the holidays.
