parade lined up to escort the Gators back home

We've got quite the parade lined up to escort the Gators back home. I hope to see all of Port Allegany lining Main Street and Arnold Ave!

Yeah...to bad the band wasn't involved too! Second game in a row that they were home an hour before the rest of the Gators (football team and cheerleaders) Mr. Stewart needs to think about the kids that are ALL involved!

yea, the band made some huge plays in the victory.

Why have those kids get sick... Yea it is great that we won but what point does having the band involve make...

The band was never invited - to the pizza party after either game, or the parades.

8:06 - Get sick? They have played at every game in the snow/rain! What point? Same as the Cheerleaders!

Does the football team get invited to winter songs or Show Choir or what ever the band concert is? If the band wanted to show up downtown for the parade they were free to do so. Hey if you wanted them involved, they should have been lining the street playing the fight song as the buses came through!

Screw the band, this isn't their time, it's the football teams "15 minutes of fame". When the band has their concert, then the spot light is theirs, not now!

I have to agree with the last couple posts. What does this have to do with the band? If the football team wasn't playing & winning the band wouldn't have games to even go to. This is all about the football team. Good Luck Gators! Keep Rolling!

All about the football players and cheerleaders...

It has nothing to do with the cheerleaders. You can't hear them anyways like the band and no one goes to watch them.

Really sad that people are condemning the band. Sad that if the band wasn't there, you would be complaining then, too.Sad they're EXPECTED to be at the game, but not invited to any celebration after.

Are the football players invited to Winter Songs and band concerts? Why, yes they are! The entire community in invited. Have you ever looked on stage at Winter Songs? Oh, there are football players on stage.

Yes, it is the football team that's winning...but the entire student body is being represented.

Besides...why are we allowing the cheerleaders to be in the spotlight after their party?

Port Allegany needs to take advantage of this moment and stop whining and complaining...we need to stop putting ourselves into these little cliques and become a TOWN. I am proud of so many of our students' accomplishments (athletics, performing arts, and academics). Yet because we have to ridicule people that aren't in our group, we alienate them creating a perpetual cycle of animosity.

Take advantage of this opportunity and become a town and simply be proud of and appreciate the positives in life. Go Gators.
