Jack Doxey of Ceres, NY, was jailed in lieu of $50,000. cash bail, after fire destroyed most of this home located on Rt. 417 in Ceres on Saturday afternoon. Troopers did not elaborate on the arrest, but their police blotter shows Doxey was arrested after the fire. The Wellsville Daily Reporter had reporters on scene and said three people escaped the intentionally set blaze blaze at the Doxey home without injury. Firefighters from 3 counties battled the blaze for about 3 hours on Saturday afternoon.

It is a crime that these people ended up with this house. For over 40 years this property belonged to my grand parents. They kept it looking like a park - clean, well manicured. When grand parents died these folks turned the property into a junk yard. It is terrible.
