Roulette Sisters Recycling Aluminum Cans and Plastic Bottles To Finance Study Abroad

Roulette sisters, Kari and Brittany Drabert, have been presented with an opportunity to Study Abroad through Mercyhurst University during the upcoming Spring Term. They will be traveling to Ireland in late February and will remain there for the entire spring term, returning to the states in mid May. 

As soon as they were accepted into the program, the sisters began fund raising efforts. 

Kari said "One of the projects is a Can and Bottle Drive. My sister and I have been working to collect and recycle aluminum cans and plastic bottles in hopes of raising some of the required fees. Many individuals have already stepped up and offered their help by dropping off recycling donations. We are hoping to expand our collection process and are asking local residents for their help.  All nickel returns or aluminum cans are being accepted."

No donation is too small. Items can be dropped off at Drabee’s Mini Mart in Roulette. Drabee’s is located on 9 River Street, right across from the firehall.
