Southern Tioga School District superintendent, board members threatened on Facebook
Wellsboro GazetteIn a recorded message issued to parents today in the Southern Tioga School District, Superintendent Keith Yarger said threats have been made against himself and members of the Southern Tioga school board.
Yarger reassured parents that the threats were made against the
board and superintendent only, not against teachers or students. He
added that the Pa. State Police would visit the homes of the Facebook
account owners who made the threats.The school's notice to parents is below:

This type of stuff should be taken very seriously! About a month ago in Austin a man made threats of violence to school children and their familys on facebook. (quote these little pukes and their familys better watch out ! I have been calm long enough now it's time for violence!) Now he is calling for more security at the school. WOW!

Grow up? So threatening 10 to 12 year old kids and their familys isn't a big deal to you?
Sometimes words are taken out of context! I hope in this case they were!
ANY type of wording, whether it be serious, in jest, or joking IS A BIG DEAL. Ignoring it would be like playing Russian Roulette.
Thease issues have been so over looked, look at all the shootings going on in the schools, i dont think ANY treat aimed at our children or anyone eals at that sould be taken lightly wake up and look around you,taken of of context or not it is never ok
All you have to do is read facebook a newspaper and talk to some people that live in Austin and you will see how big of a bully some people can be! When they get older they just use different tactics ! Once a bully always a bully!!!!!!!!
If u were this concerned then you should have alerted the proper authorities ! Why wait until now? This is a huge issue that needs to be taken care of but not like this!
I certainly hope that the police investigate that man for making threats against the kids and their families. It should be taken seriously.
