Emergency crews from several area volunteer fire departments were dispatched just before 2 p.m. to the snowy crash scene, not far from several homes.

Wisconsin pilot survives small-plane crash in Lycoming County
HANEYVILLE -- A Wisconsin pilot was injured Sunday afternoon when the single-engine Piper crashed in northwestern Lycoming County near the Black Forest Inn.
It took firefighters about an hour to free Vincent J. Mow, 60, from the wreckage which was about 250 yards off Route 44, Capt. Pete Austin of the Black Forest Fire. Co. said. Mow, whose hometown was not available, was flown to Geisinger Medical Center in Danville where he was reported in serious condition Monday. Read More...
