Virginia L. Hopkins, 88, of 120 Russell Blvd., Bradford, PA

Virginia L. Hopkins, 88, of 120 Russell Blvd., Bradford, PA, passed away Wednesday, December 12, 2012 at the Bradford Manor.

Born August 8, 1924, she was a daughter of the late Floyd M. and Katherine (Thomas) Lewis.

On February 9, 1946 in Bradford at she married Robert G. Hopkins, who died August 1, 1983.

She was a 1942 graduate of Bradford High School.

She was employed as an Executive Secretary at KOA Speer Electronics for 24 years. She was a volunteer with the BRMC Auxiliary and was a member and very active with the First Baptist Church.

Surviving are four sons, Terry Hopkins, of Minnesota, Dean Hopkins, of Bradford, Roland Hopkins, of N. Tonawanda, NY, Scott Hopkins, of Charlotte, NC, five grandchildren, one great grandchild and several nieces and nephews. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and two brothers, Bruce and Thomas Lewis.

There will be no public visitaton. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in Willow Dale Cemetery.
