2 Charged After Drug Task Force Raid In Wellsville

 Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force conducts Search Warrant

On Tuesday, January 15, 2013, following a brief investigation, members of the Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force, NYSP CNET, NYSP Amity BCI, uniform and K-9 unit assisted by NYS DEC police, executed a search warrant at the residence of RICHARD H. CLUTE , age 43, of Wellsville, NY.

Task Force agents seized approximately one quarter pound of Marihuana that was packaged for sale as well as scales and other paraphernalia. A Remington rifle that was illegally possessed was also seized as well as a small quantity of Suboxone, a controlled substance. The following subjects were arrested and charged by State Police:

RICHARD H. CLUTE, age 43, Wellsville, NY.
Criminal Possession of Marihuana 4th (221.15 PL) (A Misd)
Criminal Possession of a Weapon 4th (265.01 sub 4 PL) (A Misd)

NIOMI M. MIGHELLS, age 28, Angelica, NY
Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th (220.03 PL) (A Misd)

CLUTE and MIGHELLS were processed at the New York State Police Barracks in Amity and released on appearance tickets for the Town of Willing Court.
