Two Galeton men were treated at the scene of a crash Friday for minor injuries after the truck they were traveling in struck downed phone lines that were lying in the roadway after a pole had previously broken off and fallen.
Willliam T. Greenwood, 23, of 62 River Street, Galeton, PA, the driver, and Greg Burdick, Galeton, PA, passenger, were both using seatbelts when their 1999 Dodge Ram 1500 struck the downed wires.
Galeton Fire & Ambulance responded to the 5:36 PM crash on the West Branch Road at the intersection with Crippen Road in West Branch Township. Trooper K:yle Butler said the truck sustained moderate damage in the crash.
