If the guns had been banned this wouldn't have happened

Its happening bc the are banning guns! Seriously?! Gun bans won't do shit for criminals! Criminals don't follow laws! Breaking and entering is a crime, did they care?! Obviously not!

Damn. $1500 per gun...must have been quite the collection.

Are you kidding me 9:41? We the people. 2nd amendment. This is our right. Thanks to our forefathers, they understood that the People NEED TO BE PROTECTED, from our Government. All I know is I rather own a gun and teach my children how to use it properly, then depend on PSP or a town cop to protect my family and I. You don't like guns. Should be taken away. Well that is your opinion, and this is mine. Go buy a gun. Learn how to shoot it and how to protect your own. I will defend our right to own a gun. As the saying goes they (the government) will have to pry it (a gun) from my cold dead hands. And to that I say AMEN. Now I will use my name because I am not ashamed of my opinions. I AM A GUN OWNER AND PROUD OF IT...

all for keeping guns out of the hands of criminals!!!

Sure it would have. This will create great business for underground guns. Especially when the civil war starts and people like YOU have nothing to protect yourselves. Dont come crying to US!

Granted, some guns need banned, but not all.

See how fast crime increases if all guns are banned.

More stores and banks will be hit. More homes broken into.

HISTORY:: REMEMBER THE GUN STORE ROBBERY IN THE 1950'S IN KANE,PA.? GUNS THAT WERE LATER USED IN THE LARGEST EVER BRINK'S TRUCK ROBBERY IN BOSTON. EITHER THESE PEOPLE ARE IN NEED OF MENTAL HEALTH OR ARE ON DRUGS. THOSE WEAPONS CAN BE TRACED BY THEIR SERIAL NUMBERS OF COURSE DON'T COUNT ON ERIC HOLDER TO TRACE THEM HE MIGHT SELL THEM TO THE DRUG CARTEL. GUN BANS WILL NOT STOP THEIVES FROM STEALING WEAPONS. GUNS DON'T KILL PEOPLE, PEOPLE ON DRUGS OR NEEDING MENTAL HELP, WITH GUNS KILL PEOPLE.
THIS GUN STORE IS A HISTORY LAND MARK FOR MAKING SOME OF THE BEST RIFLES IN THE AREA. THEY MADE TWO FOR MY SISTER IN ARK. IN THE 1950'S . BOTH FOR BIG GAME HUNTING.
I HOPE THEY ARE CAUGHT SOON AND THOSE WEAPONS RETURNED TO THE SHOP. I PRAY THAT THE GOOD LORD WILL ALLOW THIS TO HAPPEN. ENOUGH SAID ,FRED'S DEAD

The guns made in the shop in Eldred were bolt action target rifles or heavy caliber rifles. They weren't 'assault rifles' (also known as Scary Looking Guns, or SLGs), it they were the guns made there.
For the poster at 5:31.... A taylor and Robbins gun is a BARGAIN at $1500 bucks. If they were all T&R guns, %75,000 is a very conservative estimate.
I agree (unfortunately) with the guy in ALL CAPS (even though most of the time I disagree) that the thieves were more than likely druggies. People with mental health problems generally aren't thieves though, and I don't know if the laws back in the day necessitated serial numbers.
The T&R guns are usually unique, and would be hard to move if they were trying to be sold. That being said, if the thieves are druggies and dumb as hell or drugged up, they'll be caught asap.
If it was someone local who knew what they were after, it's a different story.

IF guns (good or bad) are banned, people who have collections of never fired or ever will be, 100+ year antiques or collectibles won't be paid a dime for them being ripped from their hands.

I see a lot of passion and anger in some of the above posts. I have those same feelings. And I see we now have a break-in at a pharmacy, just a few miles down the road from the Gun Shop. Hmmmmmmm.....makes me wonder. I do feel there will be more of this kind of activity. When people are threatened with the loss of a constitutional amendment, there are those who will go to great lengths to protect that right. Then, there are people who will take advantage of this panic, and be there to make a huge profit from their ill gotten gains. It's just sad. The whole state of our once great country...just sad.
