Attention Fellow Fly Fishermen
My name is Aaron Rendos and I am a teacher at the Coudersport Area High School in Coudersport, Pennsylvania and I need your help. I am the founder and advisor of the Coudersport Fly Fishing Club at our school.
I am currently overwhelmed with the number of students who are in the club, which is at approximately 20 student members. Since the interest is so high, the club is in dire need of equipment. Our club would be grateful of any donations of your used equipment that is sitting around and collecting dust. We currently have minimal rods and reels, line, some flies, fly boxes, and other miscellaneous equipment. We are willing to take anything from rods, reels, line, flies, fly tying materials/supplies, accessories from nippers to leader material, and old waders/boots.
We are not picky and just need equipment to educate kids in the sport of fly fishing. We have been busy acquiring funding to buy tying vises, scheduling experts for speaking and training sessions, and starting fundraisers.

I think it is great that they are starting this. I miss Potter County so much and when I think of local kids on the streams flyfishing I get this image of an American scene like Norman Rockefeller used to paint. You who are fortunate to live there should cherish what you have.
Hate to break it to you 3:55 but the great American artist was NELSON Rockefeller. Furthermore, Rockefeller would probably not have painted kids fly fishing because most kids fished with worms back then and they still do.
