David J. Pusateri, 30, of Lewis Run,

David J. Pusateri, 30, of Lewis Run, passed away unexpectedly at the Bradford Regional Medical Center on Tuesday, January 29, 2013.

He was born on September 26, 1982 in Olean, NY, the son of Robert J. Pusateri and Clare A. Schweinberg Pusateri.

He was a 2000 graduate of the Bradford Area High School; he was also a 2005 graduate of Cornell University, Ithaca, NY; where he received his Bachelor’s degree in Biology.

He was a member of the St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church.

He was a volunteer at the STEPS Drop-In-Center, Bradford, for their fundraisers for ALS also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease.

He is survived by his mother, Clare Pusateri, Bradford, father, Robert (Terri) Pusateri, West Seneca, NY, two sisters, Maureen (Patrick) Kuciewski, Niagara Falls, NY, Meghan (Anthony) Lama, Lewis Run, maternal grandmother, Margaret C. Schweinberg, Bradford, two step sisters, Lindsi (Eric) Thompson, Bradford, Kelli (Peter) Vento, Amherst, NY and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, maternal grandfather and one uncle, John Schweinberg.

At the family’s request there will be no visitation. A private Mass of Christian Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.

Burial will be in St. Bernard Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in his memory can be made to the Lupus Alliance of America Upstate New York Affiliate, 3871 Harlem Road, Cheektowaga NY, 14215 or the McKean County SPCA, P.O. Box 113, Bradford, PA 16701.

Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the care of the Mascho Funeral Home, Inc.
