Diane Marie Stoddard, 79, of 69 Edgewood Road Bradford, PA

Diane Marie Stoddard, 79, of 69 Edgewood Road, Bradford, PA, passed away Friday, January 11, 2013 at Bradford Regional Medical Center.

Born November 14, 1933 in Kane, she was the daughter of the late William Harrison and Beverly June (Westerburg) Millard.

On October 12, 1951 in Mt. Jewett, she married Clinton J. Stoddard, who survives.

She was a 1950 graduate of Mt. Jewett High School.

She was a longtime cafeteria worker, working in the Bradford Area School District, working at Derrick City School, School Street and George G. Blaisdell Elementary School.

She volunteered at Bradford Hospital for a number of years and was active with the Jacks and Jills Square Dancing Club and was involved with clogging groups in the area.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Sandra (Shawn) Hallett, of Jamestown, NY and Beverly 'Tina' Stoddard, of Bradford; a son, Michael W. Stoddard, of Duke Center, five grandchildren, Christina (Steven) Dixon, Mik (Jackie) Stoddard, Shawn Stoddard, Victor Hallet and Katherine Hallet; five great grandchildren, Breanne Updegrove, Cody Stoddard, Brittany Stoddard, Jonny Dixon and Ryan Dixon; two sisters, Audrey Himes, of North Carolina and Lavila Spaich, of Depew, NY; a brother, John Millard, of Alden, NY and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents. and one sister.

Friends are invited to call from 3-5 & 7-9 PM, Thursday, January 17, 2013 in the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes, Inc., South Avenue where funeral and committal services will be held at 11 AM, Friday, January 18, 2013 with Rev. Max Miller, pastor of the Bradford Area Parish, officiating. Burial will be in Willow Dale Cemetery. Memorial contributions, if desired, can be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
