Eleanor M. 'Squirt' Carpenter, 84, formerly of 183 East Main St., Bradford, a resident of Wellsboro PA,

Eleanor M. 'Squirt' Carpenter, 84, formerly of 183 East Main St., Bradford, a resident of Wellsboro PA, passed away Thursday, January 24, 2013, at Soldiers and Sailors Hospital in Wellsboro.

Born June 19, 1929 in Minia, she was a daughter of the late Frederick M. and Susie (Martindale) Troutman.
She attended Bradford Schools.
She worked for Bradford Regional Medical Center, and was a waitress at the Congress Street Diner and Nick's Red Hots.

She is survived by three brothers, Tony Troutman, of Wellsboro, Bill Troutman, of Clarence, NY, and Gary Troutman, of Roulette; five grandchildren, Rhonda Colts, Robin Perez, Jessica Lynn Baker, Robert Joseph "Bob" Baker and Ryan Joseph Baker, five great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Irwin Joseph "Joe" Baker, five brothers, Mayhlon Troutman, Claire Troutman, Medford Troutman, Guernie "Joe" Troutman, and Neil Troutman, and one sister, Marion Baker.

Friends are invited to call Tuesday January 29, 2013, from 11:00am to 1:00pm in the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes, Inc. South Ave., at which time funeral services will be held at 1:00pm with Rev. Max Simms, pastor of the Hilltop Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Willow Dale Cemetery. 

Memorial contributions, if desired, can be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
