Galeton Man Arrested On Felony Charge

The Galeton Police Department has arrested  a Galeton man for an incident in Galeton Borough on December 11, 2012.

Christopher Chase Hall, 27, of 52 West Street, Galeton, PA, was in possession of a 22 Winchester rifle that was reported stolen and a 12 gauge shotgun that had been modified and classified as an offensive weapon according to Galeton Police Chief Christopher Brackman who made the arrest. 

Hall was arraigned Friday at 3:35 PM before District Judge Delores Weiss on charges of Receiving Stolen Property (F2) and Make Repairs/Sell/Etc./ Offensive Weapons (M1) and released on $15,000. unsecured bail, with a preliminary hearing set for 1-22-2013 at 1:00 PM.
