James C. Carter
James C. Carter, 62, of 183 Constitution Ave Bradford, PA, passed away, Sunday, January 6, 2013 surrounded by his loving family, at his residence.

Born November 4, 1950 in Wilmington, Del he was a son of the late James H. and Gloria G. (Sockwell) Carter. He was a 1969 graduate of Brown Tech High School and later graduated for Delaware Tech with an Electrical Engineering Degree.

On February 19, 1972 he married Roberta L. (Stidd) Carter who survives.

He was employed as the Director of Environmental Services at the Crothall Services Group in Delaware and later at the Bradford Hospital. He was formerly the manager of Togi's Family Restaurant. He had been employed as District Manager for the Prudential Insurance Company. He returned to New Jersey and the Crothall Group and retired as Director of Environmental Services at Burdette Tomlin Memorial Hospital.

Surviving in addition to his wife Roberta of 40 years, is one daughter, Archangela Graffius, of Bradford, two sons J.C. (Jessica) Carter, of Pittsburgh, and Stephen (Jeannine) Carter, of Pittsburgh, one sister, Debbie Hawke, of Wilmington Del, two grandchildren: Margaret Suzanne Graffius and Mark Russell Graffius III both of Bradford.

Family will be receiving friends on Wednesday January 9, 2013 from 10:00am to Noon in the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes, Inc. 372 East Main St. at which time funeral and committal services will be held with Rev. Raymond Gramata, pastor of St. Bernard Church, officiating. Committal service and mausoleum entombment will be held in St Bernard Mausoleum.

Memorials, if desired, may be made to American Heart Association 823 Filmore Ave. Erie, PA 16505, Community Nurses Hospice Program or Futures Rehabilitation Center.
