Jane P. Carlson, 91 of Lewis Run, PA

Jane P. Carlson, 91 of Lewis Run, passed away on Sunday, January 6, 2013 at the Bradford Regional Medical Center.

She was born on October 20, 1921, in Lewis Run, a daughter of the late Arthur and Leona Kellog Atkinson.

On May 24, 1958 she married Earl E. Carlson, who survives, in the Evans Memorial United Methodist Church, Lewis Run.

She was a 1939 graduate of the Bradford Area High School.

She was employed for forty years with various local banks, the last being the former National City Bank; where she retired from.

She was a member of the Evans Memorial United Methodist Church. She enjoyed making ceramics and making afghans, spaghetti and pies for her friends and family. She loved spending time with her family, friends and all of her “kids”.

In addition to her husband, of fifty four years, Earl Carlson, Lewis Run, she is also survived by nephews, Jim (Cathy) O’Neil, Lockport, NY, William Burtch, Columbus, OH, Ronald (Robbie) O’Neil, Tylertown, MS, John Coleman, Tim (Kathy) Coleman, Marty (Stephanie) Coleman, all of Grand Junction, CO, Pat (Audrey) Fay, Enfield, CT, Mike (Debbie) Fay, Bradford, William Onuffer, Greensburg, PA, Robert Armstrong, Pittsburgh, PA, William Burtch, Columbus, OH, Joey Breault, Erie, PA, Mikey Butler, Lewis Run, and nieces, Marcia Onuffer, Erie, PA, Kay (Larry) Gazdik, South Glens Falls, NY, Jeanne O’Neil, Providence, RI, Donna Burtch, Columbus, OH, Molly (Randy) Bish, Cranberry, PA, Judy (George) Rhodes, Rew, Jan Burtch, Philadelphia.

In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by one brother and four sisters.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 10, 2013 at the Evans Memorial United Methodist Church from 10:00 to 12:00 with funeral services immediately following with the Rev. Fred J. Moore, pastor of the Rew United Methodist Church officiating.

Burial will be in McKean Memorial Park, Lafayette.
