Jill Suzanne Merritt Goffeney, 35, of 643 Summit Road, Bradford, PA, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, January 8, 2013 at her residence.

Born January 31, 1977 in Olean, she was a daughter of Thomas and Marilyn R. (Oliver) Yonker and Arthur Merritt.

A 1997 graduate of Smethport High School, she earned her Associate's Degree in Computer Science, with honors, from I.T.T. Technical Institute in Clearwater, Florida.

She was a member of the First Wesleyan Church.

In addition to her mother and stepfather, Marilyn and Thomas Yonker and her father Arthur Merritt, she is survived by two daughters, Allison Renee Goffeney and Alexis Nichole Goffeney both of Indiana, three sisters, Nicole Merritt, of Bradford, Brandi (Bryan) Murphy, of Greenville, SC and Amanda Merritt, of Bradford a cousin, with whom she was raised, Jennifer Hitchcock Bednez, of Bradford; two step brothers, Todd Yonker, of Limestone and Jeff Yonker, of Eldred; five nephews, Andrew , Branden, Bryan, Thomas, and Elijah, and two nieces, Christina, and Lauren., three aunts, Charolotte (Mel) Lewis, Marsha (Burdette) Hitchcock, and Ellamae (Douglas) Oliver and many loved cousins.

At the request of the family, there will be no visitation and funeral services will be private.
