Yesterday at 17:00, Mansfield Fire and Ambulance along with Medic 2 were dispatched to the Westgate Road in Richmond Twp for a vehicle crash.
Chief 2 arrived on scene and reported one vehicle on its roof in the roadway with the roadway being extremely icy. Engine 2-2, Ambulance 2-16, Rescue 2-8, and Medic 2 all responded as well as Richmond Township to cinder the roadway as not all apparatus could make it up the icy hill.
Units were on scene approximately 2 hours clearing the crash and waiting until the roadway was treated well enough to reopen to traffic.
