Two York Haven, PA, residents were unhurt at 9:35 on Saturday morning when their 2000 Ford Explorer hit an icy patch on the roadway and went out of control, striking a guide rail on Rt. 219 in Lafayette Township.
John D. Shoff, 65, and Monique M. Shoff, 53, of York Haven, PA, were traveling south on Rt. 219 when the crash occurred. Trooper Leslie Barr said Lafayette Township Fire Dept. and PennDOT assisted at the scene.
