A Galeton driver was not hurt when he lost control of his 2008 Ford Focus on Route 6 in Roulette Township last Friday at 3:36 PM and struck a guiderail.
Carl T. Beacker, 19, of Galeton, PA, was traveling west on Rt. 6, negotiating a right hand curve when he lost control of his vehicle and struck a guide rail. Trooper Matthew Montag said the vehicle came to rest 1/10 mile west of the initial impact. Beacker was cited for (not) Driving Vehicle At Safe Speed.
Port Allegany Ambulance, returning from a transport to CCMH called in the crash and checked out the driver on scene. Roulette Fire Dept. and Kightlingers Towing assisted at the scene.
