Cole Memorial Dentistry

A Rabies Clinic will be held Saturday, August 26th from 1:00 to 4:00 pm at the Ulysses Tri-Town Firehall. All dogs, cats, and ferrets that are at least 12 weeks old can be vaccinated against the rabies virus. The first time a dog or cat receives a vaccine, it is good for one year. Each time after that, the vaccination is good for three years. Ferrets must be vaccinated annually. All animals attending the clinic must be on a leash or in a container. Cost is $5.00 per animal. The clinic is sponsored by Dr. Lindsay Schwartzmeyer of the Potter County Veterinary Clinic, LLC.

NY State Police Arrest Man For Burglary Of Whitesville Store

State Police in Amity arrest 20 year old West Union man for Burglary 3rd

The New York State Police in Amity report the arrest of  
Jesse M. Whitesell, age 20, of the town of West Union, N.Y. 

Whitesell is accussed of burglary to the Whitesville Grocery Store in the town of Independence during the early morning hours of January 12, 2013. Whitesell is said to have entered into the grocery and stole items including beer and candy. 

Whitesell was arraigned in the Town of Angelica court by the Honorable Town Justice Robert Evans and remanded to the Allegany County Court on $2,500 bail. Whitesell was ordered to reappear in the Town of Independence court on January 16th at 5:00 p.m. 

Troopers were assisted in the investigation by the Town of Independence Police.
