Photography Workshop – The Basics

Want to learn photo basics, from using the camera to software editing? Attend this two-hour class and walk away with the skills to accomplish those tasks. Instructor Curt Weinhold will cover setting up your camera for particular photo subjects, the sometimes awesome/awful menu system, proper composition and lighting to capture a great image, and uploading photos to your computer. In addition, he will cover editing options such as cropping, contrast and some inexpensive or free software for the job.

 This course is scheduled for Tuesday, February 5, 2013 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Potter County Education Council’s Coudersport office. The cost is $35. To register, call (814) 274-4877 or register online at www.pottercountyedcouncil.org
