Police are looking for a hit & run driver that ran into the rear of the car ahead, and pulled around and fled the scene last Saturday in Shippen Township at 12:45 AM.
Trooper Eric Farabaugh said that the crash occurred as both vehicles were traveling north on SR 3001 (Moore Hill Road). Wesley T. Clark of Austin, PA, stopped on the roadway due to the contact between vehicles. The hit & Run vehicle proceeded to pull around Clark's vehicle and fled toward Emporium. There was minor damage to Clark's car. The hit & run vehicle was described as possibly being a Jeep Cherokee.
