Potter County Fair Queen Participating in State Contest

Potter County Fair Queen, Miranda Pesock
The 2013 PA Fair Queen Competition will be held on Jaunary 24-26 at the Hershey Convention Center. This year's Potter County Fair Queen, Miranda Pesock, will be represnting Potter County. 

Miranda is a 2012 graduate of Oswayo Valley High School and is attending Clarion University where she is studying Early Childhood/Special Education. . She is the daughter of Randy and Debra Pesock of Roulette. Miranda is a member of the Potter Show Animals 4-H Club where she has shown horses for several years at the Potter County Fair.

The PA Fair Queen Program's mission is to provide educational opportunities for young women in Pennsylvania through their scholarship program for selected Queen and alternate. Also provideing a representative to promote great public understanding, awareness and interest in Pennsylvnia's top industries--Agriculture. 

The state competition allows us to select that representative from a group of young women who are already winners from their own fairs. The competition is held in conjunction with the PA State Association of County Fair's 100th Anniversary convention.
