Road Closing In Clara Township Due To Flooding

Clara Road in Clara Township is temporarily closed due to flooding at the Wakeley Hollow Bridge by the intersection of Clara Rd and Wakeley Hollow. Residents and travelers are urged to use alternate routes until the water subsides.

For the people on the other side of that bridge, what is their alternitive route ? You can't go up over the hill, that would be really foolish for any one to try.

If that creek would have been left banked up, we would'nt keep having this problem. But DER or whatever state agency had to get involved and now if floods there all the time.I go through there early in the morning to work, glad I was able to see the big rut where the water had washed the road out. Maybe DER will come and drive me to work in the mornings when I can't tell how deep it is, By the way I leave about 4:15am so be on time to pick me up. Linda Hurd

You tell them Mom, I am also another resident who live's up here in Clara. The problem was fixed until someone stuck their nose in and had the township remove the barrier. The people who do live on the other side of that bridge, out of 7 family's only 1 family has a diesel, so we cant just go through it. Luckily the road really ain't that bad and is passible.
