Route 42 lane closure at Columbia County crash scene
3:50 p.m. Monday:
Motorists traveling Route 42 northbound between Aristes and Numidia in Columbia County are advised that the northbound lane is closed due to multiple crashes.
Northbound traffic is being detoured onto Ringtown Road, Ringtown Mountain Road and Mountain Road.
Emergency responders anticipate the lane closure will be lifted by early evening.
Southbound Route 42 traffic is not affected.
