Route 44 closed at crash scene north of Route 220 near Jersey Shore
Motorists in the Jersey Shore area are advised that Route 44 is currently closed approximately one-half mile north of Route 220 in Porter Township, Lycoming County, following a truck crash.
Both lanes of Route 44 are blocked where a tanker truck is overturned.
Traffic should detour via Routes 973, 287 and 220.
The closure is expected to be in effect until later tonight.
