SP Machias - Friendship man arrested for aggravated DWI
On 1/1/13 at approximately 3:03 PM SP Machias troopers were dispatched to a rollover accident on Rawson Rd in the Town of Lyndon. Trooper Timothy Pompeo responded and discovered that Jon W. Law, age 39, of Friendship, NY had lost control of and rolled his pickup truck.
During his investigation at the scene Trooper Pompeo determined that Law was intoxicated. Trooper Pompeo arrested Law for DWI.
During processing it was determined that Law had a blood alcohol content of .26%. Law also had a prior DWI conviction in the past ten years. In addition to the charge of aggravated DWI (felony), Law was charged with vehicle and traffic law violations relating to the rollover crash.
Law will answer the charges in the Town of Lyndon Court next month.
