Tom and I want to thank everyone who responded so quickly when he fell off our front porch Saturday night. Bryan Phelps and Jim and Billy from the borough police dept. were there within a minute after I called 911. Our son Rob was a hero in my book for running from his house to help us., and our daughter Annie arrived within minutes from her house. The ambulance crew were so gentle with Tom and responded quickly. Those angels in the emergency room and Dr. Herman hardly ever left our sides during the five hours we were there. The ICU staff was fantastic as well as the staff on the fourth floor.

Tom is being transfered to Sweden Valley Manor for a few weeks of rehab and when he comes home he'll have a brand new ramp at the back of the house thanks to Steve Savinsky and Dick Darren.

This is but one example of how wonderful it is to live in a small community. Thank you all for your prayers, your phone calls and your visits to Tom
