Belva M. Shields, 89 of Bradford, PA, passed away on Wednesday, February 6, 2013 at the Pavilion at Bradford Regional Medical Center.
She was born on August 2, 1923 in St. Marys, a daughter of the late Robert and Marie Uhl Henry.
On October 10, 1960 she married Richard F. Shields, who preceded her in death on November 13, 1996.
She loved animals and spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by two sons, Gino (Diane) Morelli, Lewis Run, Denny (Sherri) Morelli, Bradford, two daughters, Tammy (Mark) Luciano, Jill Shields, all of Bradford, one sister, Helen (Richard) Keesler, Hazelhurst, seven grandchildren, four great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband she was also preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
At the family’s request there will be no visitation. A private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family.
Burial will be in Willow Dale Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in her memory may be made to the McKean County SPCA, P.O. Box 113, Bradford, PA 16701.
