Constance “Connie” E. Tompkins, 77, of Coryville, PA, died Sunday (February 24, 2013) at her residence.

She was born Feb. 16, 1936 in Shinglehouse, a daughter of Walter and Jenny Shaffer Miles. On October 16, 1971, in Coryville, she married Willard W. Tompkins, who survives.

Mrs. Tompkins had worked in home health care and was co-owner of Tompkins Junkyard. She was a devoted follower of the Pentecostal Movement.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by:

two daughters: Debra McKee of Eldred and Linda Gordon of Port Allegany

three sons: Donald Green, Jr. of Newell Creek, Dennis Earl Green of Port Allegany, and Danny Green of Bradford

two sisters: Roseanna Connolly of Eldred and Adah Meacham of Roulette

four brothers: Kenneth Miles of Eldred, Walter and Stephen Miles, both of Port Allegany, and Michael Miles of Smethport

Many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters: Virginia Wenner and Phylis Miles; and three brothers: Adelbert, Robert, and Larry Miles.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday (Feb. 26) from 10AM to 12 noon at Hartle-Tarbox Funeral Homes, Inc, 105 N Main St, Port Allegany, PA, where funeral and committal services will be held in the funeral home, at 12 noon, with the Rev. Glenn Hamilton, officiating. Burial will be in Grimes Cemetery, Port Allegany.
