Constance (Connie) L. Eckert

Constance (Connie) L. Eckert passed away at her home in Galeton, PA, on Wednesday, February 13, 2013, at the age of 78. 

She is predeceased by her parents, Emeron and Dorothy Weber, and her brother David, all of St. Mary’s, PA. 

Connie is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Jerome Eckert. They were married in St. Mary’s on February 12, 1955. She is lovingly remembered by her husband, Jerome; sons, Joe and Brian Eckert; daughters, Debra and Karen Eckert; loving grandchildren, great grandchildren and other relatives. 

Connie was born in St. Mary’s in 1934 and graduated from St. Mary’s High School in 1953. She was very active in the Catholic Church and various charities including the Special Olympics and enjoyed sports and spending time with her family. 

 Friends may call at the Hess Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Collins Chapel, 14 West Street, Galeton, on Friday, February 15, 2013 from 2:00 to 4:00pm and 7:00 to 9:00pm and on Saturday, February 16, 2013 at St. Bibiana’s Catholic Church, Galeton, from 10:00 to 11:00am with a Mass of Christian Burial following at 11:00am. The Rev. Joseph Dougherty will be the Celebrant. Interment will be in the West Hill Cemetery, Galeton. 

 Memorial contributions may be made to the Erie Diocese Friendship Mission.

Connie, was a very unique and loving, humorous person, who is going to be sadly missed by everyone who knew her. Thought's and prayer's go out to the Eckert family. So sorry for your loss.
